| Abstract | In this bachelor thesis a filter is analysed that uses the temporal trajectory of a pixel to calculate a better estimation of the pixelvalue. The integration into the codingprocess allows the filter to improve both the quality and the required bitrate. The main part of this thesis deals with the choice of the best threshold combination while focusing on the decision method and its rate-distortion-optimization. |
