Title | Multiple Cue Indexing and Summarization of Surveillance Video |
Abstract | In this paper we propose a system for the summarization of safety and security surveillance video. By combining the information provided by multiple analysis cues, we improve the quality of the information extracted out of the analyzed video sequences with respect to the state-of-the-art approaches, therefore, being able to generate summaries that better align with the content of the original video. The proposed system has been tested using an extensive set of surveillance sequences, showing compression ratios ranging from 11 to 114, depending on the video content and the configuration of the system. |
